With just 1 round to go at the 360 One Global Chess Festival, Iniyan Panneerselvam is currently leading with a full point over Boris Savchenko. Iniyan is on 7/8, while Savchenko is on 6/8. If Iniyan manages to draw the last round, he will be crowned the Champion. In Junior Masters, Madhvendra Pratap Sharma is on 7.5/8 points, keeping his 1-point lead, and a last-round draw will be enough to clinch the title. The tournament features an impressive prize fund of INR 35,00,000/- (around 37,207 USD), with a record first prize of INR 8,00,000/- (around 8,500 USD), one of the highest ever offered in an open chess tournament in India.
